How We Help

.
The True Heroes
Volunteer trail builders and community members actively work with public and private landowners to advocate for trail access to develop and maintain trails for the entire mountain biking community. From going to Town Hall to meet with indigenous groups, to rebuilding an old rock garden, there are individuals putting in time, energy, and resources to create the expansive trail network we get to ride for fun. You may never meet the trail builder that built the beautiful wooden feature you love to hit, or the girl that talked to municipal parks divisions at City Hall to allow that trail to first be built.

Well Deserved Recognition
Flow Mountain Bike Apparel strives to give back to those hard working individuals that are helping to grow the mountain biking community and trail network. As the sport grows, the trails will need more maintenance and upkeep due to the increased traffic of riders. We want to create awareness for the trail builders and shine the spot-light on the ones making it all possible for us to ride, as well as grow a company that will allow us to give back and be certain that this world will have amazing mountain biking trails for generations to come.

How We Help
We will be giving 20% of our profits to trail building and maintenance associations across British Columbia. Associations like the North Shore Mountain Bike Association (NSMBA), Tri-cities Off Road Cycling Association (TORCA), and Squamish Off-Road Cycling Association build, maintain and protect trails and bike parks through their grassroots network of dedicated individuals. We will advance our donation options later on providing specific association donation across Canada (for example - donating to specifically NMBC if you are from Nanaimo), but for now, we will select which association will receive the donation every month. Flow will be dedicating a story highlight on Instagram so everyone can follow along for the journey.
